The camp is for high school-age players who will be in grades 9 through 12 whose goal is to play college baseball. Coaches and players will be giving instructions in all facets of the game, from positional play, pitching, and hitting.
The campers will be instructed by the entire Liberty University coaching staff and other college coaches from various levels. The will involve a pro-style workout in the morning where each participant will run the 60, field and throw from their position, and catchers will throw down to second and third. The afternoon will consist of rotations involving a full batting practice session of the field, hitting tee velocity, hitting tee work, hitting instruction in the indoor cages, defense on the field, and bullpen work with the pitchers.
Each camper can receive a complete analysis of his baseball skills upon request. Currently, Liberty has 15 players on its roster who have participated in past Liberty camps.
**The November 6th camp is being held during Liberty University’s College For a Weekend, which runs November 4-7. Lunch and a t-shirt will be provided for each camper. Registration will begin at 8:00am.**
**If you want to throw in the bullpen, please put either primary or secondary pitcher. If not, you will not be able to throw in the bullpen, as we will give priority to primary and secondary pitchers.**
